Quite a strong character. Uncompromising warmth. Good balanced. You need to like it hot to enjoy the dram.

The cask character somewhat dominates this zesty but delicate whisky.

It took me a while to get past the very pale colour (white wine) and the distinctive aroma but, in the end, I liked this manifestation of The Laddie.

A whispering dram. Nothing wrong with that. You’ve just got to tune in to its delicacy. The character is full and complex. Dangerously enticing especially with a dash of water.

A confusion of flavours that don’t seem to have rounded in the cask

Still sweet, but much more rounded. Real depth of flavour, tastes more like Armagnac than whisky. I would like to try it with pecan pie.
