Tasting Notes

Martine Nouet

Nose
Scented garden aromas: wild rose, thyme, lemon grass. Muscat grape and orange peel.
Palate
Bracing mouthfeel yet almost syrupy. Redcurrant. A lovely blancmange aftertaste.
Finish
Slightly spicy (nutmeg), even warmer with water.
Comment
Light, straightforward. Delicacy without mannerism. Keep it for a romantic candlelit dinner.

Dave Broom

Nose
Very pale suggesting a neutral cask. Light floral/apple blossom notes and some white fruit. Delicate to the point of ethereal. Water kills it stone dead, just the aroma of dead leaves.
Palate
More to it than the nose suggests but thatâ��s not saying a lot. Lightly floral, but no complexity, no drive.
Finish
What finish?
