Tasting Notes

Dave Broom

Nose
Sugary sweet and delicate. Some crystallised fruits, lemon with cut flower, quince, but also a sharp note.
Palate
Light, but hot with a touch of spice. Lilac.
Finish
Flour and flowers.
Comment
No great complexity and a little green.

Arthur Motley

Nose
Pear and lemon peel. Dough, damp cloths and white pepper. Tinned pears.
Palate
Pear and smoked meats, but it seems to exist at the top of the mouth, without any malty undercarriage.
Finish
Chalky.
Comment
A strange, floaty dram suited to summer drinking.
