Dave Broom
Nose
Light and clean. Hint of butter. Mostly green fruits: melon, pear, unripe banana, lawnmower box. Some sweetness. Seems young.
Palate
Much softer (and better) than the nose: tinned fruit, firm grainy grip in the middle then easing into Opal Fruit juiciness.
Finish
Sweet melon balls.
Comment
Best drunk – and meant to be drunk – mixed. Try with ginger ale, it really works!

Nose
A curious lack of ‘whiskiness’. Alcohol, a gin-like citrus, juniper even . Fizzy kiwis, and a mineral-like quality. Very light.
Palate
Slightly toffeeish, some melon then a slight bitterness like paracetemol.
Finish
The sound of one hand clapping.
Comment
A very clean spirit, but I was left with a sense of absence.
