Dave Broom
Nose
Warm straw, honey and lemon. Water makes it drier and brings out wet green ferns.
Palate
Clean light and crisp with a soft, vanilla led, mid-palate. Tropical fruit and a slightly chalky quality.
Finish
Clean and lightly nutty.
Comment
An attractive sipper, but only in decent mouthfuls. A good session whiskey...if one is allowed to say that in these moderate times.

Nose
Hand-rolling tobacco, a hint of ginger. More floral and fragrant notes emerge in time, and finally vanilla.
Palate
Oily mouthfeel, quite dry, with fudge and emerging spices.
Finish
Starting out spicy and drying.
Comment
A pleasant enough dram, but lacking real personality.
