Nose
Resiny. Piney. Peaty.
Palate
Piney. Stunningly fresh peat flavours.
Finish
Sweet, salty and peppery. Astonishingly long.
Comment
A beautifully composed whisky. Classic intense, Scottish flavours.

Jim Murray

Nose
Smoky, but not overly so. The peat is soothing.
Palate
Pretty young for a Springbank and there is a slight coarseness amid the malt.
Finish
Remains peppery and peaty.
Comment
Enjoyable, but ideally needs another five years to smooth the rough edges.
