Tasting Notes

Michael Jackson

Nose
Flowery. Slightly herbal.
Palate
Smooth, sweetish, fruity. Orange liqueur.
Finish
Vanilla, toffee. Gently warming.
Comment
Rich, sweet, liqueur-like. I would like to get to know this one better.

Dave Broom

Nose
Light but exotic with some marzipan, varnish, Turkish delight, apricot (orange muscat) orange pith and milky coffee.
Palate
Light with sweet spices and a light bite. All on the sweeter more fragrant side of the spectrum.
Finish
Clean with light peppery rye tingle. Still that sweetness.
Comment
A mellow Canadian take on things with enough peppery bite to keep rye fans happy.
