Tasting Notes

Martine Nouet

Nose
Resiny. Freshly cut oak. A forestry bouquet reluctantly leading way to fruit. Stewed plums. Vanilla and caramel shines through. Grilled sausage.
Palate
Very sweet if not too soft. Watery in the middle. Sugary and not much else.
Finish
Short, vanishing, colourless.
Comment
A promising nose but a somewhat worn out palate.

Dave Broom

Nose
Sugar icing. Starts with sweet biscuits, orange then it's all strawberry jam.
Palate
Light to medium-bodied. Intensely jammy, almost like strawberry/raspberry essence.
Finish
Sweet, quite long.
Comment
Is this whisky? Part 2. Seems to be flavoured. Good for cocktails, but this is weird.
