Tasting Notes

Arthur Motley

Nose
Cress, Jif lemon, pizza dough, bran and wet grass. Lemon pith.
Palate
Spirity, sweet and a little bland. A faint woodiness at the end.
Finish
Largely absent, but a soggy biscuit character.
Comment
I know, I know – it's a Lowland! Still, I want a little more from a whisky. Full stop.

Dave Broom

Nose
A quite distant, slightly lean, unformed nose. Sugared almond, fondant icing, pear drop, muddy field, peanut skin.
Palate
Fine-boned and intense. Good quite vibrant, youthful feel. Alcohol.
Finish
Very short.
Comment
Not much interaction between spirit and wood immature. Light and clean but lacking in oomph.
