Tasting Notes

Michael Jackson

Nose
Aromatic. Somewhere in the distance, they are burning heather.
Palate
Malty dryness. Straight-ahead attack. Powerful. Grips the taste sensors and won't let go.
Finish
Sweet but peppery.
Comment
I admired its feistiness, but I might be more comfortable with a greater degree of maturity.

Dave Broom

Nose
Rich and soft. Ridiculously creamy: blackberry cheesecake, semi-dried fruits, roasted nuts. Voluptuous.
Palate
Spicy and dark with ginger notes. Fruit cake, smoked paprika, butter, dried fruit.
Finish
Palo Cortado, nutty, marzipan.
Comment
A big soft beast of a dram. More please!
