Nose
Restrained, dry, smokiness.
Palate
So smooth as to be elusive. Soft, delicate, elegant. Sweet limes and lemons.
Finish
Bitter orange. The peat and smoke returns, with sugared-almond sweetness gradually emerging.
Comment
A whisky of seductive charm.

David Robertson

Nose
Floral and fragrant. Hints of wood and spice.
Palate
Richly phenolic with lemon and apples.
Finish
Mouth coating oiliness delivers a long lasting phenolic and lemony aftertaste.
Comment
A very unusual expression of The Macallan. Unquestionably a classic.
