Tasted in Whisky Magazine Issue 33 by Michael Jackson and Dave Broom.

Whisky Magazine is the perfect complement to the dram in your glass. Every issue brings you fascinating articles on the art, science and romance of the 'water of life', plus page after page of tasting notes.

Tasting Notes

Michael Jackson

Nose
Fresh bread. Fruit. Nuts. Peshwari nan.
Palate
Big and creamy. Walnut bread. Walnut oil. Peach kernel. Fresh white peaches.
Finish
Toasty, biscuity, cookie-like dryness.
Comment
Post prandial. After the aloo.

Dave Broom

Nose
Fresh, silky and gentle with good weight. Malt, butter, lemon, milk chocolate and the smell of spring meadows.
Palate
Sweet, malty and attractively oaky. It starts all very charming with lemon cake and cream then there's a hard, crunchy, nutty centre.
Finish
Dried mint. Slightly sour.
Comment
A smooth tongued charmer.
