Tasting Notes

Michael Jackson

Nose
Dryish. Vanilla-pods. Fragrant.
Palate
Lightly malty character. Some caramel-like flavours.
Finish
Faint suggestion of peat (or char?).
Comment
Pleasant enough, but a Breton whisky should surely offer some kind of regional difference?

Dave Broom

Nose
Light fruits and floral notes. An intriguing mix of citric and savoury: orange bitters and boot polish. Water gives it a lovely spring-like lift: leafy, damp and a light buttery edge.
Palate
Sweet and medium-bodied, the flavours all concentrated on the middle of the tongue. Dries quite quickly with a hint of charcoal. Strangely attractive.
Finish
Smooth.
Comment
Approachable. I like it.
